Guide to Make NHL 2015 Coins

The crown jewel of the game is obviously its Hockey Ultimate Team, or HUT, that comes with other game modes. It features many of the tasks that hockey fans and gamers will definitely love doing such as team building, card collecting, and team competition with other players in the game.

Building your dream team will require Pucks, the in-game currency. And this will not come as a surprise at all - earning Pucks is also quite a challenge.

HUT Daily Rewards

Simply logging in the Hockey Ultimate Team can allow you to earn some Pucks, even if you are not actually playing. Sure, it may not be enough to buy the card of your dreams, that Jonathan Toews card, but over time you will have as much as 1,250 Pucks with all these accumulated time.

You will not have enough to buy some thing at day one, but keep doing it and you soon will harvest the fruits of logging in everyday. Let's you already have 1,250 Pucks on hand. Keep doing that for the rest of the month and you can end up having 38,750 Pucks. You earning this without even playing is pretty much handing it to you already.

Avoid Quick-Selling

Before you start doing this part, take into consideration that it may only bring in a few hundred Pucks at first, but if this accumulates into a month or a year's worth of diligent work, it can considerably alter your earning potential.

Players with low value that can be sold easily for 613 Pucks are most often that not end up being auctioned off on the open market. However, you should think about putting them on a bid, instead of quick selling them just so you can move on.

For instance, the same player that you can put a starting price at 250 Pucks can also be quick sold for 306 Pucks only. It clearly shows the difference in profits as long as you are able to sell that player. Also, you can increase the starting price for a player if it last sold at a higher price, so that its not that far away from its actual market value.

Here is one example. A Colton Orr card has 306 Pucks as a quick sell value. In the auction house, its last price sold, however, is 900 Pucks. You would do well to set 600 Pucks as your starting price and 800 Pucks as your buy now price. Not much you say, but you are still earning profits.

Buy Low, Sell High

Take this advice with a grain of salt. Just because you know the basics of this trick doesn't necessarily mean that you can pull it off too. And with the complex economy in NHL 15 HUT changing constantly, it is crucial that you know when is the right time to buy and when to sell.

Let's say, you have Pavel Bure which is worth 550-600,000 Pucks if auctioned. If you wait for the next 24 hours not really able to decide on whether to sell him or not, you're already on the losing end. The rule of the thumb, if your team is lacking in one way or another, might as well sell it.

When the value of a card has already decreased, that means you just lost 50-100,000 Pucks. A card can lose its the value when its stay longer in existence, as this results to flooding the market when people begin to pull him. A Bure card can potentially be undersold by 10,000 Pucks if there is one person who want special attention to his/her card, among the many other Bure cards there is for sale. As soon one person does that, many others will follow. In the blink of an eye, you can easily lose 100,000 Pucks from when you first got hold of the card.

This is a rather extreme case. A more viable case for anyone can be the +5 Skater All training cards. These are usually being sold at a buy now price of 4,000 Pucks via auction on PS4. Using the concept behind this tip, browse for this card, and set 3,500 Pucks as your highest buy now price. There are others who will set a lower price than you do, but the ultimate goal is for you to be able to get as much as you can afford for the mentioned price, and then quickly set the price at the market value of 4,000 Pucks.

By doing this, you hit two birds with one stone. First, by taking out the cheaper versions of the card and putting in place your pricier cards, you are also increasing the market value for that card at that particular time. Second, this allows you to get a profit of 500 Pucks for each card. If you are able to sell 10 of these cards, that means 5,000 Pucks extra money, and deduct from that the 5% tax for the game. The real value in this tip is that it is very much viable to dozens of cards in any game mode.

Participate in the Auctions

Those who are new to the game risk losing by taking long to come up with a superior team. Jumping right into the game, throwing all caution to the wind, with a blind hope of earning Pucks in the process is a way to commit NHL suicide.

Participating in the trading for several hours, day, and even weeks is an important task to be considered if you plan on having a competitive team that is ready to take on an opponent. With that said, building your team and your bank account will not only involve knowing all the tips there is, but also give time and do some work.

Pricier cards that sell at over 50,000 Pucks should be given special attention to. Know what their value is at a particular time and browse around for a person who puts them up for auction at considerably lower price. Let's say, you saw Phil Kessel with a price tag of 25,000 Pucks, purchase him, then sell at his normal market value which is 100,000 Pucks. This is not something that you can easily accomplish, but if you are patient enough, with luck on your side, a one-time deal of this nature is a sweet reward for your hard work.

New Features Introduced in NHL 2015

These apply to next generation versions (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) but not in previous generation versions (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360).

Player Physics

A reworked player physics that enables players to perform secondary collisions, player pileups, and net scrambles are the new features of the NHL Collision Physics. In the future, physics applies to and affects all 12 players on the ice, thus resulting to a pileup that has all 12 players in it. This is not entirely doable in previous generations.

With this new feature, new generation versions have a more realistic feel and unforeseeable effects when it comes to puck bounces, rolls and goals. Physics for the puck is determined by everything that happens on the ice. A software engineer who has experience with the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) was the main person responsible for the more authentic puck physics, according to Sean Ramjagsingh, NHL 15's producer.

Also, in the next generation, there is a robust cloth technology as a result of a new modeling system for both equipments and players. Thus, overall physics is also now affected by the movement of player's clothes.

Authentic NHL Arenas

Except for PNC Arena and The United Center, EA is doing revamps on 28 NHL arenas for the next generation versions. These arenas will feature intricate details, resulting to no two arenas being alike, and can accommodate larger audience during an NHL game.

NBC Sports Game Day Presentation

A broadcast package will also be included in next generation versions, that is reminiscent of NBC broadcasts during an actual NHL game, thanks to a new signed deal with NBC Sports.

New Commentary

NBC Sports commentators Mike "Doc" Emrick and Ed "Eddie" Olczyk will replace play-by-play announcer Gary Thorne, co-commentators Bill Clement and John Davidson, and TSN analyst Pierre McGuire of ESPN and ABC Sports. Also, in next generation verisons, giving game opinions right on the ice is TSN analyst Ray Ferraro.

Thanks to Ferraro being nearby in Vancouver to EA's development studios, he can be easily contacted if there are updates on the game and new opinions as the current season develops. In the next generation versions, there will also be less lip syncs and more green room and virtual studio recording for both Emrick and Olczyk.

Living Crowds

Expect a more authentic audience effects with the crowd more “alive” by with realistic reactions, vibrant costumes, and supporting their team by holding up board signs. A varied fan profile was the result of more than 9,000 new audience models.

Also, in the newer versions of the game, not only will Vision AI feature potential plays but also everything that takes place in the ice will not be easily missed by non-human-controlled players.

Ever since NHL 11, there was no group celebration. Not anymore. Goal scorer will now be able to celebrate with their team as this feature makes a comeback in next generation versions of the game. There will also be new player celebrations to be added.

Ultimate Edition

For $10 more, players can get the Ultimate Edition of the game, that's according to an announcement made by EA on 30th of June 2014. Those who purchase this edition will be able to get a special content that they can play in Ultimate Team mode. However, there will be lesser modes in Xbox One and PS4 than in older generation.
