If excessive hacking and botting became the top two problems in Guild Wars 2, ArenaNet faces another problem: AFK functions. AFK or 'Away From Keyboard' is a function allowing players to leave the game allowing their characters to engage in auto-attack functions and receiving loot. Within recent weeks, ArenaNet has suspended several accounts in relation to AFK rather than botting activities. ArenaNet encourages players to fully participate and engage in the game rather than depending on AFK functions. Regardless of player's intentions, AFK is not recommended to be enabled for long periods of time. Players will risk getting their accounts banned for a period of 72 hours.
